Paid Ministers or Not

I have conflicting interest on the title since I am a paid minister. The Christian Chronicle in an article by David May is urging members to be the ministers.

This is a needed call to action in our churches in North America. We have fallen prey to a consumerist church culture where we can hop here or there depending on programs offered to us. The church needs ministries and programs, but we have come to rely on paid ministers to offer the ministries or lead the ministries. The church was simply asked to go into the world, not go hide in a church building.
