An Actor Announces His Show is "Filth"

Yesterday I ran across this story on Reuters, but the link is no longer live, here is Fox news version of the story. Below are clips from the Fox news. 

"If you watch 'Two and a Half Men,' please stop watching it and filling your head with filth. People say it’s just entertainment. Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to television, especially with what you watch." 

Here is an Hollywood star speaking out about the effects of TV on the brain and our decisions about what we watch. What goes in our brain goes into our heart as well. How often have I sat idly by and watched a show or movie and normalized my behavior as "not that big of deal."

"If I am doing any harm, I don't want to be here. I don't want to be contributing to the enemy's plan ... You cannot be a true God-fearing person and be on a television show like that. I know I can't,” he continued. “I'm not OK with what I'm learning, what the Bible says and being on that television show."

Are you ok with what you are reading in the Bible and how your life reflects Christ or reflects the world? May God watch over us all as we try to walk faithfully with Him daily.
