I have wrestled with this question several times over the last couple of years. Finally, I read a statement from The Shack which made sense. This book by no means is a theological book to answer our questions, but there is great insight into our perspective of how we read and interpret the Bible. If you are up to having an open mind then get this book and try to read in a couple of sittings.
