Torn?

I am at a season in my life were I am torn between doing "good" things. Finishing a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy is a good thing, but the intern hours hinder my view of doing other good things. Today I find myself having to say no to one area of ministry in order to focus on another area of ministry by completing the internship hours. Ministers have to live in a constant state of saying "yes" to good things and saying "no" to good things. However, Christ often said no more than he said yes. He was torn to go many places, but he knew he needed to do the will of the Father.

Father, thank you for allowing Jesus to focus on one thing, the cross. Guide me to do your will as I say no and yes. Allow me to know when to say no and when to say yes. Amen
