I am not sure what book to get, but here are three options I am tossing around.
Option 1
To participate in an online blogging book club about Tribes: We Need You to Lead Us
I have already read this book, but the community is what I need right now to help narrow my focus and define my leadership abilities.Option 2
Wild Goose Chase: Reclaim the Adventure of Pursuing God
I have not read any of Mark's books but the reviews sound like this one would be worth my time.Option 3
The Blue Parakeet: Rethinking How You Read the Bible
by McKinght. I know several bloggers who have enjoyed this fresh perspective and I have personally been wrestling with several issues that we as Christians seem to leave in the Bible because it may get messy if we try to understand and more importantly practice what many Christians did in the first century. (Reference the book above for one topic in particular.)Please leave any suggestions below.
