What are you thinking?

"What was I thinking?"

Have you heard that statement lately? This statement is a reflection of guilt and shame which leads some closer to the cross of Christ.

Paul in Romans 1:21 and 28 outlines what happens when we don't think about living a life that glorifies God. When one is "not thinking" his or her thinking becomes destructive and leads to life separated from God.

A appropriate response to this statement would be, "You were not thinking." However, if you have fallen short of "not thinking" and feel guilt and shame, there is hope in the cross of Christ.

"What are you thinking?"

May you respond today by saying that you are thinking about how to glorify God and worship Him only (Rom. 1:23).
