Do you remember your childhood memories of saving money in your piggy bank? With the rising use of credit cards, having cash or spare change on hand is unheard of. I remember my aunt who stored spare money in a special container in the freezer, ultimately saving for the unexpected or the rainy day. There is numerous analogies by authors who explain marriage as a bank. One must deposit "good things" into the relationship that way when the unexpected fight or rainy day happens one does not withdraw more than what has already been deposited. If we are making conscious efforts to deposit into our spouse's love bank, than we should have adequate means available when we mess up or do not communicate properly. What have you deposited lately?
