Life today seems like everyone is looking to pass the blame onto someone else. Apparently very few people want to take responsibility for his or her actions. McCain and Obama have officially started the mud-slinging war making personal attacks on each others character and behavior. Why can't they talk about themselves as a future President? Does it really surprise us? No. Would they dare say the things they are saying on commercial or at their rallies in front of the other candidate? Probably not. Apparently people do not want to confront their own behavior therefore it will be easier to confront someone else's behavior, behind their back.
We must start to take control of our own actions and confront our behavior and then think about confronting the one who has been throwing the mud at us behind our back. For example, the economy appears to be bad. We can find articles and have data to back up how this or that person did this or that and now has led us to where we are today. (The articles are there and the data is there about how we got here, but you will have to do on your own.) What if we started to take control of our financial behavior independently? (Check out Dave Ramsey's words on this matter.) In reality greed was present on Wall Street, Pennsylvania Ave, Main St, and every place in between. However, if we would have acted within our budgets then we would have never been in this mess today. Take control of yourself and your future and start moving forward. Has a President saved us in the past? No. This year will not be any different. Look to Jesus Christ as your only Savior for the future.
