I was just watching the new TV show called Game Show in My Head and was pondering a few points. The show is built around the idea that the contestant has a concealed ear piece in their ear with the host telling them and directing them in what to do and say. The show appears to be very challenging and difficult if you are unable to approach total strangers. The strangers often walk away confused and intrigued by what the person is doing.
However, I was wondering what am I directed by. You know that little voice in your head that often leads you to do the things you do everyday.
Are you ever convicted that God is truly leading you? Have you ever been led to say something to someone and you know you were totally being led by the Spirit of God?
Romans 8:1-14 speaks of being led by the Spirit and living according to the sinful nature. If you have been baptized with Christ than you are being led by the Spirit of Christ to do and say bold things, which will probably have some people look at you in confused and intrigued ways.
Realize when that happens you are not a mere game show you are the living presence of Christ.
That is very good! You know I'm not really good about this and it is something that I work on, but I need to be more diligent in perfecting this. If I could just be like my children....they say what they think! HMMMM! And that goes back to a child like faith!
