Does telling people what to do attract people to a leader?
Yes, but typically during times of crisis or uncertainty. This style of leadership is best in a military setting, but people do not respond well to this style of leadership.
As I scan the book True North Bill George points out that this style of leadership does not lend itself to people being creative or for people to take initiative.
Are the people around you taking initiative?
Are people being lead to create ministries?
But I like telling people what to do....look at you....I told you what to do and you turned out ok. Just Kidding! I'm working on being more submissive, and less demanding.
