John C. Maxwell always brings his best work each time he writes a book. In his newest book, "Put Your Dreams To The Test" John challenges one to clearly define his or her dreams. The format of the book is laid out in 10 simple, but challenging questions to help one narrow the focus of the dream. Everyone has dreams the difference of those who "see it and seize it" is the self discipline one is willing to do in order to capture the dream.
The book can easily be read in a couple of sittings to jump start one into action. However, as the book suggest in the title one must be willing to test or answer questions about the dream. Within each chapter one can define the dream by taking time to reflect upon the questions to focus in on how the dream will become a reality.
Like most of John's books he uses an abundance of quotes and stories. Sometimes this can make a good book bad or a bad book good depending upon if he does not over due the quotes and stories throughout the book. This is a matter of personal preference.
If you are in a transition phase in your life this book is for you. This will help you redefine your purpose and refocus on what your dream really is. If you are a pessimist why are you still reading? Dreams can be achieved...what about yours?
