Would you like a pair of socks?
Have you ever realized how valuable a pair socks really are? Last night we handed out about 200 socks to men, women, and children at the Las Vegas Rescue Mission. The first Friday of every month is always a humbling experience. The youth group has been trying to be Christ with this activity for over 3 years now. God has really allowed many hearts to be changed and we now have adults with no teens who are participating in the Kingdom of God. Today give thanks to God for your socks. Next month we will be thanking him for coats as we hand out coats to those without coats.

I always struggle to find the desire to go to the Mission each month, but I am always rewarded as God continues to break my heart and mold it for His Kingdom. I met Mike on Friday night and I remembered him today as I read your blog. Thank you for always challenging me spiritually through your thoughts on DRIP.
